How does Europe taste?

GAFA pupils on culinary traces of South Carinthia

On Saturday, January 25, 2020, author and publisher Lojze Wieser and Burgtheater director Martin Kušej invited guests to a culinary journey of discovery through southern Carinthia at the Casino am Schwarzenbergplatz. The two hosts were supported by a motivated service team consisting of sixteen students from GAFA.

Besides the work, the students had enough time to enjoy the unique program of the event. In addition to a varied menu with Kirchtag soup made from 36 ingredients, a festive roast of veal and other southern Carinthian specialties, texts by Peter Handke, Maja Haderlap, Axel Karner, Christine Lavant and others were read. The Talltones interpreted Carinthian songs of a special kind.
