Sweet Christmas greetings from GAFA to Vienna's mayor

Shortly before Christmas, GAFA – Vienna School of Hospitality visited Mayor Michael Ludwigwith sweet treats and important messages.
Accompanied by enthusiastic students from GAFA, Mag. Dr. Thomas Peschta, chairman of the school association, David Grandegger, BEd., principal of GAFA, and Martina Haslinger-Spitzer, deputy chairwoman, delivered Christmas greetings – in true style from the patisserie master class.

The meeting focused on a valuable exchange of ideas about the future of gastronomy. Particular emphasis was placed on the great importance of young talent in the industry, who bring not only technical skills but also passion, creativity, and a spirit of innovation to the sector.

GAFA has always seen itself as a talent factory for the restaurant and hotel industry. Encounters like this show how important dialogue between education, practice, and politics is in order to offer young people the best prospects and to ensure the quality of Vienna's restaurant industry in the long term.
