Background discussion with Managing Director Dr. Petra Stolba

As part of the subject Tourism Marketing, the Managing Director of Österreich Werbung, Dr. Petra Stolba, visited us. After a short fact check about the importance of tourism for Austria's economic performance, Dr. Stolba discussed with our students, among other things, the positioning of Austria as a tourism country, the shortage of skilled workers, overtourism and the use of augmented and virtual reality in tourism marketing.

Passion & Curiosity

With her passion for tourism, the Managing Director of Österreich Werbung inspired our students. According to Ms. Stolba, the many positive encounters with people are the wonderful thing about working in tourism. With the words "You always see each other twice in life", she ended her visit. We are looking forward to it!
